OUR MISSION

ANCHOR ARTS is a coalition of artists and many other supportive souls from many walks of life. The members of ANCHOR ARTS agree on its role of creativity, as healer, as comforter, and even as educator through entertainment. All working together, each in their own way, they strive to help bring together the following efforts:

-Topical original theater

-Musicals

-Documentaries

-Radio dramas

-An annual project geared toward shut-ins and children

ANCHOR ARTS often includes artists with disabilities, in abled-bodied roles along with a cast of ethnicly diverse actors that are cast in nontraditional roles. The purpose is to integrate these artists within the works in order to show their full humanity, thereby minimizing the alienating aspects of any disability or typecasting issues.
